Tigers are the largest members of the cat family, known for their striking orange coats with black stripes. They primarily inhabit forests, grasslands, and wetlands across several countries in Asia, including India, Indonesia, and parts of Russia. Tigers are carnivorous and mainly hunt large prey such as deer and wild boar, using their powerful bodies and stealth to stalk and ambush. Unfortunately, tigers are classified as endangered due to habitat loss, poaching, and declining prey populations. An interesting fact about tigers is that their stripes are unique to each individual, much like human fingerprints.
